The Directory of Community Health, Mental Health and Learning Disabilities includes comprehensive information on community nursing, mental health and learning disability services throughout the UK, and reflects the changes in the structure of the NHS and social care services in England now that PCTs have been abolished. The latest edition of the Directory has been fully updated with enormous assistance from entrants to make sure you have the best available information to hand.
The Directory is organised into sections to make life easier for the user and contains pages packed full of key contacts:
- Governance & Regulatory Organisations including Health and Wellbeing Boards, Clinical Commissioning Groups by region and Local Area Teams
- Health Listings including NHS England, NHS Scotland, NHS Wales, Northern Ireland and Offshore. The first page of each sub-section contains a map denoting the geographical spread of each Clinical Commissioning Group or Health Board. Where the Health and Wellbeing Board/Clinical Commissioning Group name is used, it is followed by that of the main provider together with their address and contact details. Services are then listed by department and job role.
- Partner Organisations including independent healthcare providers, the Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy Service (IMCA) and police forces
- Social Services(all UK local authority social care services listed by service with full contact details for each)
- Useful Addresses (contact details and thumbnail sketches of support groups, health and care related charities and voluntary groups)

- An alphabetical listing of all health care providers together with the page number on which they appear
- An alphabetical listing of towns and villages showing which Health and Wellbeing Board/Clinical Commissioning Group is responsible for providing services in that area together with the page number on which they appear
- An alphabetical listing of all Health and Wellbeing Boards/Clinical Commissioning Groups showing which towns and villages fall into their catchment area together with the page number on which they appear
